An exciting time to join a growing team within the financial planning and Employee Benefits team. Based out of one of our larger offices, Aberdein Considine Wealth are looking to recruit a Marketing Manager for our financial planning and Employee Benefits team that can provide solutions and strategies to help achieve the goals of the business. This role will require someone who is able to:

  • Assist / support the Board in creating and executing a bespoke marketing plan to achieve set goals within the business plan i.e. increase the volume of quality web leads across all locations
  • Design and implement innovative and effective strategies, not just a producer of content
  • Create and implement the desired public appearance of a Wealth Firm whilst applying and adapting for each outward facing facet of the business

Key responsibilities

Marketing expertise and input should be considerable in the following business level decisions:

  • Brand personality & outward persona

  • Client journey
  • Client facing documents
  • Client feedback processes
  • Future strategies and goals

The successful candidate will be required to drive, manage and / or complete the following activities, based on the brief of business goals from senior management and to effectively fulfil the scope of this role:

  • Website oversight
  • Publication editing / copywriting
  • Brand recognition strategy
  • Client communications
  • Lead management
  • Client data analysis
  • Client and prospect events
  • Marketing design tools
  • Social media accounts
  • GDPR management
  • Awards applications
  • Template management
  • Financial Promotion Management
  • External presentation creation
  • Collaborative working between Aberdein Considine divisions i.e. legal access and cross referrals
  • Oversee BD activity

Requirements

Skills, experience and knowledge

Essential

  • Financial planning and advice
  • Understanding the scope and purpose of the service offered, both personal wealth and ideally Employee Benefits
  • High-level regulation surrounding the activities of the Firm
  • Competitor marketplace and the nuances between the specific geographical locations
  • Understanding the consumer base - the target market and the characteristics of those who fall into it
  • Technology and digital tools to support success
