Our busy Union Street Office are looking for a Sales Team Leader to join their team who will be responsible for the development and performance of a busy sales team charged with achieving and surpassing sales targets consistently. In addition to guiding and motivating the sales team, the Sales Team Leader will be expected to have a hands on approach in relation to working with clients, suppliers as well as the property, legal and financial advisers within the office. A close working relationship with the estate agency management team will also be required to ensure that budgets and targets are evaluated and delivered upon and new ways found and evolved to simplify and improve the sales and referral process going forward.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage the overall running of the sales team
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans
  • Achieve growth and hit targets by successfully managing and being part of the Sales team and by assessing the teams strengths and weaknesses
  • Establishing productive and professional relationships with key stakeholders in the office
  • Building and promoting healthy, long lasting client relations with new and existing clients 
  • Working with the management team in developing and implementing new sales and referral initiatives, strategies and programmes to capture new clients across all demographics
  • Providing training, coaching, development and motivation for new and existing sales team members
  • Ensuring that all staff are suitably trained to conduct role
  • Setting of objectives for all team members
  • Absence and performance management
  • Address client and employee satisfaction issues promptly
  • Ensure full and proper implementation of and adherence to Firm policies and procedures
  • Work with the management team in agreeing and delivering the following years business plan
  • Undertake other duties as requested including management of the viewing agent diaries and property administrators

We are looking for a passionate, self-motivated individual who possess strong communication skills and has the ability to work under pressure within a fast paced environment. Candidates must have a proven track record for achieving targets and be able to lead and motivate a team. Having local property market knowledge and an understanding of advertising mediums relevant to the property industry would be desirable.
