Our busy Edinburgh office are looking for an enthusiastic and outgoing individual to join their team as a Trainee Sales Consultant. A company vehicle will be made available for use. A Full UK driving licence is essential.

ROLE OF THE DEPARTMENT

The role of the department is to identify and secure new valuation opportunities, successfully convert valuations to new business, ensure correct pricing and maximum exposure for clients properties, maintain and manage an active database of buyers, negotiate the best possible offer for each and every client, identify other business opportunities that will generate revenue for the firm and to provide an efficient, reliable and professional service at all times.

JOB PURPOSE
 

This is an entry level role for an enthusiastic individual looking to start their career in Property. Full training will be given and with ongoing support the role will develop over time and will focus on helping the team the following:

1.            Finding buyers for the properties we are marketing and managing our applicant bank

2.            Dealing with enquiries coming into the branch through telephone, e-mail, portal leads and walk-in’s to the office

3.            Assisting our negotiators to manage a portfolio of properties ensuring professional and reliable service

4.            Helping to maximise business leads for other legal and financial services

5.            Providing the marketing team with social media content

 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
 
  • Booking valuations / viewings
  • Obtain viewing feedback and communicate to clients
  • Carry out accompanied viewings
  • Assist with property window display
  • Register applicants and identify their specific property search requirements
  • Keep clients informed of all activity on their property (viewings, noted interests, etc)
  • Put up / Take down For Sale Boards
  • Assist with social media content
  • Assist the team with general property admin and portfolio management
  • Deal with inbound calls, emails, portal leads or walk-in’s to the office
