What does your day-to-day role look like?
Speaking with clients and discussing their individual needs and providing advice on property and borrowing funds. Discussing affordability and the associated costs with taking on a mortgage. Ensuring the mortgage is affordable and in line with your budget and meets affordability requirements with a lender. Providing a decision in principal that gives a credit check based decision from a lender to confirm your borrowing potential. Providing advice on properties and home reports to advise on suitability for a lenders perspective.
What tip would you give those getting a mortgage?
Speak with an independent mortgage broker that can give personalised advice from whole of market lenders. Before meeting your broker you want to be prepared, ensuring your personal details are up to date, check your credit file and provide the broker with a copy. Look to build up a personal deposit, a minimum of 5% will be required by most lenders. A broker like myself with guide you through the whole process and support you through the whole journey.
Supporting clients through the purchase journey and seeing the delight when my clients get there keys on their dream home is the end goal. Building a positive journey for my clients and having them return year after year for continued advice and support.
