A day in the life of a Solicitor

What does your day-to-day role look like?
A number of in person meetings with clients throughout the day to discuss ongoing transactions. A lot of communication via phone calls and emails to make sure clients, other solicitors and mortgage advisors are being kept in the loop with the buying and selling process.

What valuable advice can you offer a client?

Speak to a solicitor as early as possible to get a clear indication of how the process is going to work. Solicitors will always give you a guide on offering and discuss properties with you so it can be very helpful in making the right decision.

What is the most rewarding part of your role?

Securing the 'dream home' for clients particularly the phone call to let them know they have had an offer accepted. The excitement of moving the clients have makes my role extremely rewarding.

What do you enjoy doing in your time out with work?

I enjoy going to the gym and going for runs, taking the dog out for a walk and going out socialising at the weekends.
