A number of banks branches are closing as more and more people turn to digital banking.
However, despite the closures, there is still a way to see a mortgage adviser on your local high street.
Charlie Fraser, pictured, is a Partner at Aberdein Considine, which as well as being Scotland's largest solicitor estate agent is also one of the country's biggest independent mortgage brokers.
"Our business is built on local experts - and it is important to us that we make a wide variety of expertise available on the high street," he said.
"We truly believe that it is in the public’s best interest to deal with expert local professionals who can offer unrivalled market knowledge."
One of the benefits of buying a home with Aberdein Considine is that we have everything you need 'under one roof'.
It is likely that you will need a mortgage to help fund your next home purchase - and without visiting every high street lender it can be difficult to be absolutely sure you have sourced the best mortgage deal.
However, our fully-independent mortgage advisers can help provide advice - and unlike some banks and building societies can secure what really is the best product for you.
We can access more than 3,000 mortgage products from all major high street lenders – and in the vast majority of cases do not charge broker fees to arrange the loan.
We usually obtain ‘decisions in principal’ online while you wait, so you leave your appointment knowing how the land lies.
Use our 'mortgage calculator' tool to estimate how much you could borrow.

Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage.
