Business owners and HR directors are being urged to join a free employment law breakfast briefing in Aberdeen next week.
Leading Scottish legal firm Aberdein Considine is hosting the fourth of its new 'EMpower breakfast briefings' to update businesses on legal developments which affect them.
The session, being held at the firm's Aberdeen headquarters at 5-9 Bon-Accord Crescent, will take place at 8-9.30am on Thursday December 15 and will look at all employment law changes that have taken place in 2016.
The session will also examine how Brexit might affect the employment law landscape.
Sally-Anne Anderson, an Employment Law Partner at Aberdein Considine, will deliver the interactive session.
She said: “We will be looking back at significant legal updates and case law developments of 2016.
“We will provide practical advice on how these developments may have affected your business and the steps you should be taking to manage any changes.
“Topics will include an update on the current state of play in relation to holiday pay, litigation and consideration of how Brexit may affect the employment law landscape.
“Looking to the new year we will also consider what changes we should expect to see in 2017.”
The briefing is the latest in a series of monthly sessions delivered by EMpower, a new employment law, HR and PR service which has been jointly launched by Aberdein Considine and Citrus Mix
