At Aberdein Considine, our people are our greatest asset - so every week we are meeting with a different member of the team so you can get to know them better.
Today we're getting to know Anthony, one of the firm's partners based in Stirling.
As the lead partner in the Stirling branch and last of the former Muirhead Buchanan partners, I have a very much hands on role tying together the different services we can now provide in house, under the Property, Legal and Financial banner.
My day to day workload comprises a mixture of residential and commercial conveyancing, as well as wills and executries, not to mention serving the general legal needs of my many long established clients and their families and associates, built up over the last 35 years.
Hard to believe judging from the photo, however, I have lived and worked in this area since the mid 1980’s and over that time have seen the former town become a city.
I've experienced at first hand all the advantages of scale which that brought, but with it still retaining a close knit community feel.
All that you need for a healthy lifestyle, balanced between work and leisure, is close at hand.
Whichever one I am dealing with at any given time.
Versatile, resilient and equanimous.
I decided I wanted to become a lawyer at an early stage in my secondary schooling but if not would probably have gone into engineering as my father was an engineer.
As a boy, I always had a screwdriver to hand to fix things. No change there!
Socialising with my wife, daughters and friends as well as playing golf, cycling, skiing and general outdoor activities.
Always expect the unexpected.
I was once the number one ranked sprint triathlete in Scotland.
