What does your day-to-day role look like?
First thing in the morning usually consists of a team discussion to catch up on what everyone has going on for the day. I will then swiftly move on to managing the applicant bank for the branch which involves contacting potential purchasers for updates on their search and matching applicants to properties we currently have available to increase interest and hopefully start the process of a sale. A large part of my role is conducting property viewings with potential purchasers, which is followed by feedback calls the following day to keep clients updated on how their sale is progressing.
What tip would you give those buying/selling their home?
Be ready - whether you
are purchasing with cash or with a mortgage, make sure you have a solicitor in
place to offer on your behalf and are in a position to move fast on a property
so you don’t miss out!
What is the most rewarding part of your role?
The most rewarding part of my role is meeting new people, forming long-lasting relationships with clients, and lastly getting to witness the excitement of buyers collecting the keys to their new home
